This was a fun one – an intersection of friends with different practice areas: Photography by Alexander Kreher, Design by Anya Shcherbakova, and Creative Direction by Ost Haus. Alex and Anya created volume one of the Belle Isle Moonshine Book, and a year later Belle Isle reached out for another installment.
We wanted to leverage the strength of the artists and the flexibility of Belle Isle Craft Spirits by crafting a book that would become a mainstay on bar shelves in Richmond, VA and hold its own nationally across the reach of the brand. The design approach was to create an exterior that complements classic cocktail handbooks, but with the inside lathered with vivid colors and inventive recipes.
