The VCU School of Pharmacy approached us with an exciting project, they were in the beginning stages of redesigning their website and knew they wanted content that reflected this new transition. We were immediately swept away by the faculty and students of this institution, their passion for the subject is unbridled and how they intertwine with the surrounding schools and community made for an exciting relationship between traditional corporate work and documentary filmmaking.
Sizzle Reel
This video is the culmination of the many different aspects of the VCU School of Pharmacy. Filming took place over the course of an entire semester in classrooms, labs, and community events. Additional footage that was gathered were smaller social media highlights and web assets for their new website.
Yorktown MOM Project
The Mom Project is a program of the Virginia Dental Association Foundation. Its a collaborative effort to bring dental care to people who could not otherwise afford it. The VCU School of Pharmacy faculty and students were there to triage, consult, medicate, and educate patients. Shot in the style of a mini-doc to capture the experiences of the students and patients at the event. The outcome was a short primer on the experiences of the students and how the work they do intertwines with the community.
The Center for Healthy Hearts
The Center for Heath Hearts is operated as a low-cost clinic to treat chronic illnesses to ensure healthy lives for their patients. The video was to profile the faculty, students, and patients in the clinic to get an overview of the program.
